love your neighbor…
February 23, 2010 …by giving them muffins!
//UPDATE The muffin boxes were purchased from The Container Store. You can find the recipe here. Thanks! //
Last weekend I put together this little project and delivered it to my neighbors. These muffins are my absolute favorite, lemon & blueberries. I use any excuse to make them whenever possible.

For anyone interested in making a little treat for your neighbor, I am including a download of the cards I made. Nothing is more fun than giving a bribe to get on your neighbor's good side.

what lucky, lucky neighbors.
thanks for the download!
You have to make these and bring them to group! I won't ask for the recipe but they look great, I love lemon and blueberry!
I added your blog to my list so I'm going to be keeping up now. I just recently got into blogging and started my own, but it is mostly a medical-personal type blog. I have subscribed to a few others first and I finally got caught up on them so now I can catch up on yours. Yours will be the fun, lighthearted one in my group, always a good one to be!
Love your blog...I'm so excited to have this as my morning routine!!! I can't wait to use the hello neighbor idea....so proud of you!!!
Thanks for the download! I wish I was your neighbor. Those muffins look great! :)
Are there any houses in your neighborhood for sale? =) I love this idea! I saw this on How About Orange today and loved it! I would love to link to this card if you didn't mind.
This is adorable and thoughtful, I LOVE it. I am definitely going to be using this, so thank you! I'd also love to share it with my readers (you know, my virtual neighbors) :).
What a lovely thing to do. The muffins look delicious and the packaging just as sweet! Lucky neighbors!

PS Found you through How About Orange
Thanks for the idea. Now I just need to find a box like yours. My husband and I have been thinking that we need to get to know our new apartment neighbors so something like this will be perfect. Found you from "How About Orange." Good luck with our blog undertakings!
I love these. How pretty:) We recently moved and are looking for non-creepy ways to meet our neighbors. These labels definitely say "let's be friends" thanks!
too freakin' cute! love it. thanks for the download!!
Thanks for the download of the cards! These muffins look delicious! :-)
Hi!
What font are you using in "hello neighbor"?
Such a cute design. Culture these days is not very conducive to be-friending your neighbors. Such a shame about that, too. I love spending time down at the "historic" town squares with the smaller cafes & shops...I just wished I could walk it! I'd love to share baked goodies with my neighbors!
Food & flowers....now that would be awesome!
Thanks for sharing this cute label and now you need to share the recipe :D I also make a great blueberry cornbread muffin, enjoy!

The font for "Hello Neighbor" is Buttermilk by Jessica Hische. Here is the link:

And I just might do a followup with the recipe. A great idea!

Oh how adorable. I would love the recipe for the muffins. I love lemon and blueberry. You are so creative. I love your blog.
What lucky neighbours you have.
Thank you, these are lovely.
I love these boxes that you made for your neighbors and the muffins look fantastic - can you post the recipe for them. My husband and I are trying to reach out to our neighbors for the glory of the Lord and I would love to do something like this for them. I found your blog through someone elses blog I was following and love it.
