One of the best things about a career in the creative field is knowing RIDICULOUSLY talented people. Basically that's the prerequisite for being my friend. Lots of talent.
Hence, you now see the work of my friend, Dustin of I'MFINETODAY. Remember, this wedding? That's his too. I saw him post this portrait session and had to share. Here are some thoughts behind the shoot. "When I was approached by our friend, Kacie, to photograph her and her daughter, I pretty much knew instantly to doing something a little different for them. They have a special mother-daughter relationship since Kacie is a single mother. It's just them—girl time, all the time, even their dogs (both males) have been girl-ified. For me it was important to capture the things they frequently do together, I felt it emphasized their bond. They both are pretty goofy girls so it made for a fun shoot, not to mention they were naturals at being on that side of the camera."
Thanks so much for letting me share, Dustin! Don't you agree?! Be sure to check out his blog and see more of his photography.
