sweet paris party

Fitting this time of year to share a party themed around the city of love! Look at these incredibly chic and simple details by Stephanie of the blog Stephmodo.

Are the details not the most darling things you've ever seen?! I want to eat it all up. Activities included making crepes and pipe cleaner Eiffel Towers. So clever. AND her goal is to spend $50-$100, which is the icing on the cake because we all know how budgets and number of parties become so unrealistic. Thrifty - simple - gorgeous - definitely my cup of tea.

Find more images of the party here, and be sure to dissect her entire blog here. The array of themed parties is absolutely magical. Thanks so much to Stephanie for allowing me to share!

au revoir paris

Bicycling around Paris, crepes in the Tuileries, followed by a picnic at the Eiffel Tower during sunset. A more perfect ending for this adventure with my husband could not be!

So happy to have shared my travels with you. Regular crafty posts will continue soon, as I get back into the swing of things. Hopefully the domestic life will be just as appealing! ;)

palace perfection

I know there are MANY amazing sights in and around Paris, but I'm willing to say the Palace of Versailles is probably one of the most incredible. These few images do no justice. Such an indescribable experience—if only the day could have lasted longer. First on my stateside agenda is watching the movie Marie Antoinette, to continue the extravagance that is french royalty.

Any readers been? I'd love to hear what you thought of the place.

strawberry heaven

A last dash of berry goodness.

My friend, Lydia, and I made this non-traditional cake for her birthday bbq. So much yumminess, I could hardly stand to share with other guests. > recipe here.

And just to let you know, next time my photos will look like this and this.
