in winter

The long weekend and chilly days have left me with feelings of nostalgia for winter. Especially winter with a snow that covers many trees.

What about you? Are you looking forward to the first snow or dreading it???

lovely bundle {warm & cozy}

I think my mood is as fickle as the weather. Yesterday was gorgeous sunny and today is all gray and dismal—which makes me want to crawl up in a blanket, snuggle, and watch movies.

Wishing you a cozy weekend!

a winter rendezvous

A snapshot of our romantic holiday in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Finally showcasing our date from last week. This was our first time snowmobiling and it was a BLAST. So much fun. Like real life Mario Kart. I was waiting for turtle shells to manifest at any moment. The trails were marked and you go over bridges and even through the middle of town. Then we stayed the night at the haunted Bullock Hotel in the small western town of Deadwood, SD.

How about your Valentine weekend? Hopefully some romance and maybe even a little eat my dust (snow) on top.

winter fabric wreath diy

A fun little tutorial that was completely inspired by this wedding. After the holidays I felt the door looked a little naked, and wanted a "winter wreath". So here are the easy steps:

Supplies: Wreath frame // vintage or scrap fabric // fake flowers.
Tools: Glue gun // scissors.

Cut fabric into strips, any width, and then wrap around wreath until covered.

Then just glue flowers in an arrangement.

I used cheap flowers since this wreath will be used outdoors. That's it. Super easy. Is it still too SPRING??? I'm going to use it anyway.
